Simon Benjamin, AQTION partner from the University of Oxford, gives a keynote presentation entitled “Quantum Computing: What is it, and why could it transform the world?” at the London headquarters of the Bank of America Merrill Lynch as part of their Transforming World one day event.

16-22 October 2019: Quantum Flagship event “Exploring and making quantum technology” in Helsinki
The AQTION team will take part in this event organized by the Finnish Presidency, Aalto University, VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, the Academy of Finland, and the Quantum Flagship. Details can be found here.
16-22 August 2019: European Forum Alpbach
Summer in Tirol means it is time for the European Forum Alpbach. Some of the AQTION team will be there to host an introductory seminar on quantum technologies, and to present the Quantum Showcase Austria. Every Alpbach participant is invited to visit us at the Conference Center, to marvel at live demonstrations of the cooling and trapping of ions, and to discuss the applications of quantum technologies with our experts.
